In this second episode of our Heavy Hitter series, we go back to the very first enemy most fans saw in the BioShock Infinite announcement trailer: the powerful, gigantic yet agile Handyman. Man? Machine? Hand model? You'll have to find out for yourself when the game launches March 26th, 2013!

[Answering "what?"]In the intro (at the fair)

[why?]At the beginning of the second act (in the first unhidden voxophone after Fitzroy takes your ship)

[what?]End of act 2 (voxphone lying by defeated handyman's body)

[how?]Various other hints scattered throughout the game (dialogue, vphones, schematics, etc) chronicling J. Fink's insight into the tears and how he stole the technology from other worlds (presumably Bioshock's Tenenbaum) used to merge man and machine.

    Answers are definitely there :p

not as good as the big daddys. There was no empathy with these guys, and you were forced to engage them, there was no choice. I felt sorry for big daddys when i took them dowm, watching the little sisters cry by his side, it was really powerful. The 'handyman' however, just runs around saying 'FEEL SORRY FOR MEEE!' which just seems like lazy development. People need to realise infinite is nothing more than a dumbed down, poorly executed version of bioshock 1.

i dont think a handyman ever throwed a AI at me. the only way i ever got them down was electric vigor and a lot of clips.

Just shoot them in the heart... that'll break em... or if you got brittle skinned... you can be able to climb them and smash their heart out with your skyhook by holding down triangle

Because you're the biggest thing sticking out in the city.

I'd make a joke about having your own separate gravity field, but then I'd just be repeating Family Guy here. :P

Hey Irrational why dont you reiterate on these and develop them more! Give us more insight into their so called tragic origins so we can have a emotional response when fighting them, you know kind of like the big daddies from Bioshock 1 & 2. We should have explored a Handyman manufacturing factory and seen the gruesome transformation for ourselves. You really let me down I had high expectations for this game yet you sacrifice development for philosophy not a good move
