Gia Belen- The First Magical Year

As the year draws to an end, I want to share this with family and friends. Our first year as parents was an intense time of joy, tears, laughter, pain and absolute unconditional love. I documented Gia's first year, at least 344 of 365 days. As I watched some of her videos and looked at some of her photos, I realized I stopped time, at least in pixels. I am so very glad I did as it was fleeting and I can barely recall how it felt to hold 7 lbs or how a 2 month old sounded. The magic of digital and video will forever reminds us of the moments we lived and I am so grateful. I fell in love with this song when it first came out and I always wanted to use it somehow. I share this on the eve of 2012, as we begin Gia's second year, as I Gia's presence on Facebook is scaled considerably. I am so glad to have shared with all of you the joys and challenges we faced this last year with our bundle. Thank you for your encouragement and your positive comments on all things Gia. Happy 2012 to each and every one of us!
