NFL and Viking great DE Jim Marshall is the unfortunate player to have the dubious honor of owning the top spot, #1, in NFL Film's 100 Greatest Follies. Marshall's 66-yard run the wrong way with a fumble recovery scored a safety for the San Francisco 49ers and is the only glaring blemish in an otherwise NFL Hall of Fame worthy career.

  • Be epic if he ran all the way to the 1 then turned around and ran all the way back the other way for a touchdown

  • Thumbs up if Matt Carle sent you here with his own goal deflections yesterday!

  • @samisback321 Actually, he is in the Hall of Fame...featured in this particular play.

    49er: "Great run Jim, congratulations!"

    Jim: "...uh oh."

  • how was it a safety if he didn't get tackled in the endzone?

  • What a happy fellow he was

  • @justsomeguy2012 I think the 49er's weren't all that great the first 30-35 years of their existance which may explain why.

  • Wow look at the blechers there almost empty. Did anyone watch the NFL back then

  • HAHAHA! #77 walks up and congratulates him. Stupid nigger ROFL.

  • #77 is my hero

  • @SubZ3ro3 This isn't madden

  • It's because of this play he's not in the hall of fame. That guy was talented
