@alpoulin1 haha i just saw ur comment after 3 months... yea i had mine converted to speakon for about $5 and i just got them put on for free... they are decent speakers, i just reccomend their concert stage speakers or the mackie powered ones, better quality, these speakers are great for small gigs for a mobile dj, but when you work in clubs and stuff these are no where near good enough, your right when you use good quality equipment they make these look like crap
@Gtbomb1 no they really are pretty good, but i reccommend buying the more expensive ones from them... like the concert stage ones, i got 4 of those... and get some of their powered speakers... these are pretty good speakers i have owned these for over a year now and they work great for parties of about 300... but i reccommend getting a good amp... like a peavey, the amp they sell is decent but i like the peavey 2600 amp, i use 2 of them to power the concert speakers from OFD and then these 15djd
Thanks for the response PingPongProductionz. I might have been interested in something like this 21 years ago when I started out in the DJ/Live sound world, but once you've used stuff from RCF, QSC, FBT, Yorkville, EV or other reputable pro audio manufacturer - you will quickly realize how crappy these are. You can tell how cheap they are just by looking at the back. No speakon? Given the amount of power required so these things produce decent SPL,speakon should be the only connection option.
@alpoulin1 i got em and they work great! all you gotta do is buy ther speaker stands and drive a couple wood screws in it so you can throw it up on your speaker stands, not that hard to do, I get a lot of compliments on these speakers and they are a lot better than they seam. These has powered and served parties up to 600 for me, thats the biggest I have done and these blew them away, i sometimes use a few of my other ppa speakers with these and the quality is amazing.
How about i throw my little home amplifier at your fucking face bitch!!
