Three years before the Soviet Union collapsed, a rock festival took place in Tallinn, Estonia. This song (translates as "I am Estonian and will remain Estonian") became one of the main anthems of the Singing Revolution in Estonia, still occupied by the Soviet Union. The Estonian tricolor flag had been banned since the 1940s, but it made a comeback in 1988. Few dared to believe even at this stage that Estonia would regain its independence in just three years, but looking back at it now shows how strong the national sentiments were.
