  • Love this track! Does Hank ever play a bum note if so, I've never heard him?

With such a pure tone it would stand out a mile - just shows what a competent (great) guitarist he really is - great posting sirpeter 1946 - many thanks!

  • @stringbender1982 Yes, its really interesting. And the sound of his improvising a little different.

  • This is overdubbed. look at the part where Hank is improvising over the original. the hand is not where that tones come from...

  • "This was my favorite they payed for the movie of the same name, with Sean Connery as the star in 1961."

  • James Bond? Sean Connery 1961...

  • What saddens me most about my generation and kids my age (15) is that they don't appreciate music such as this. And for calling the Shadows my favorite band I'm just called a nerd. =/

  • im a bluesplayer from maryland trying to craft my sound and have gotta say that ever since i've discovered the shadows, my playing has gotten the praise "New passion with old style soul and sound" i wish i couldve played with hank. makes me glad my main squeeze is a red strat.
