My thoughts are that birchbox got to big too fast and those of us who have been subscribers for the longest have noticed a decline in products. I also don't really know what the point of having a beauty profile is. Just my opinion.

When I found Birchbox I came here to see if there was any videos and that's when I came across your videos and I just loved how happy you got and how honest you are.. Oh my god my box sucks! I signed up the same time you did and my box is the worst. I got a ferragamo perfume sample, that jouer lip product, colorscience mineral powder and those nail strips! But with the nail strips they only sent 5 so I can't even use them. Waste of 10 dollars.

I was so disappointed! It was my first box and it was a let down. I did get cuter nail stickers, though. Mine are blue with glitter. Very much a teen look...but a nice sample since I wouldn't buy them at the store.

Your box is quite different from mine--I got facial lotion and no mascara.

Yea I was defintitely not impressed with thi sbox either. It DOES seem like every box has been going down in its wow factor.. I was hoping to have gotten something Nars by now. That string with the birchbox symbol on it was soooo funny.

Here's another way of looking at it. The point system makes a huge difference. I've gotten 10 boxes = $100. Subtract the full size products (L. Geller, Stila shadow, Pangea lipbalm) that's about $60. I fill out every product feedback form so I now have 500 points = $50 to spend in the BB store. So, I've gotten $60 of full size products I didn't choose but are nice and $50 of product of my choosing. I'm already $10 ahead. That's without all the samples of Zoya, Stila, Nuxe, ect.

LOL! I laughed so hard when you said.."to celebrate they wanted to give us a piece of string!.." i thought the same exact thing when I opened mine! What a major disappointment..it's not even pretty :(

@gnomey777 u get way over 10 bucks of stuff in the box. if u dont like dont pay from it any more. its as simple as that.
