Nice straw man. That verse does not mention the Holy Spirit specifically.

Matthew 3:16-17 "And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:"
Hmmm, why is the spirit of God descending upon Jesus in this manner? Even if He was the spirit of Christ, He is clearly an important and the third member of the Godhead.

The Holy Spirit is the very Spirit of Christ
"But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ." Gal. 4:4-7

Yes but He is also the THIRD member of the Godhead. He is both. You are trying to sperate the third member and putting "it" into a category much like JW's treating it is as power or "spirit" instead of the Third member of the Godhead.
