But the murder of that lady was comitted for her boyfriend. Using his RIGHT HAND to kill the lady. With enough force to do it. The greatest sin of Delara is not have alerted the police. She was also a left handed. But it is clear that she is not the killer. . And He. Her boyfriend is alive in a irani Jail...It is incredible that a jury foud her gulty having so many doubts. Especially death penalty in those circumstances.

Thanks for your reply. We do not know the intentions of the guy. Clearly the issue of her being left handed, the source of the weopon and her being a minor as well as her being made aware of the consequences of her initial confession, all raise questions. I am in Europe where we do not execute anyone. Removing her art materials, threatening her parents, denying her Mum the opportunity to say Goodbye Child, these are evil. And of course there was the stay of execution.

As for her being a minor: in Iran 17 does not make you a minor. Even so, in the U.S. minors who commit murder are often tried as adults because of the potential danger to society. At the very least, she was an accomplice in murder. Even if the murder was unintended (which was not the case), when one robber in a group of robbers commits murder as part of the robbery, every robber is held accountable to a degree. That is so in the U.S. and that's also so in Iran, and it makes sense.

Actually unless there was intent, it should be manslaughter not murder. We do not know what the malicious intentions of the boyfriend were or about the weopon. Then because she was under age, this means she should be tried as a minor. It does not warrant 6 years in jail, drugging abuse and execution early on the morning of May 1st. This was cruel and inhuman treatment for an alleged offence committed as a minor. Hence the sympathy and sadness, including from Governments in Europe.

She either assisted in a murder or committed it herself. Either way, she was guilty. The victim, a mother of 3, received 18 stab wounds!

After the murder, she did not report it to the police, thus protecting the killer(s).

The murder occurred as she and her boyfriend robbed a relative of hers, Mrs. Mahin Darabi, mother of three.
