House finch are found across most of USA, Mexico and southern parts of Canada. In Southwestern British Columbia, they can be found year-round. They are easily identified by their broad brown streaks on their chest and belly. Males' head and chest are red.

  • I finally found out what my bird is .sorry but a baby bird fell out of its nest last spring and I took her in fed her with an eye dropper. she is doing well .thank you for sharing
