No one in this country can honestly say they are anymore free or that their lives are any better bc of iraq or afganistan if anything our lives are worse and we have lost so many freedoms the bill of rights is gone, nothing stands between the ppl an the federal govts. power. I spent 6 months in a military brig and was discharged w/ a OTH bc i realized that i was supporting the evil an greedy powers that b spending christmas in that prison was worth doing wats right i hope others will follow me.

@MrJimshot1990 it depends where in Germany you stayed and who you know. I live in the Philippines and while many Americans consider the 3rd world poor, rich people in the 3rd world live in a higher standard of living than even the rich people in the US. We have more household help (maids, drivers, gardeners, etc) than actual members of the house. We can travel more easily to exotic places like swim with Whale Sharks. Our bars are open till past 4am. And cops don't hassle us!

America is less free than a lot of countries. In Germany you can drink beer anywhere any time. Plus they have less crime and a much higher standard of living. America has the freedom to put chemicals in there food. Canada does not have the draft and you can smoke weed and not go to jail forever. In fact many countries are more free with more rights for there citizens. More and more smart Americans are realizing this I think. America of the 50's is long gone.
