The world of outlaws sprint car series should be mentioned as well. Monsters!!

Right, I think a lot of F1 fans think of NASCAR as simple because it only an oval... I mean I would agree, looking at face value it does look a lot easier, but they are both so difficult!!! I have always loved F1, the complexity of the cars and the speeds through the corners is amazing and I have a lot of respect for those guys.
However in the last year I really have been watching a lot more NASCAR because its interesting, the slippy cars, the weight and the number of cars makes it so good!

As an f1 fan i'd like to apologize for all the idiots in here, we have them in droves on the forums during f1 races as well...

F1 owns Nascar. Fckn Yanks.

F1 and NASCAR are both awesome forms of racing. Nothing is better than the other, they're both great. Now, if elitist F1 fans would pull their heads out of their asses....
-
To be honest, I love F1 but I also have tremendous respect for NASCAR drivers. Can you really compare the two...NO!

@1R1SHxSN1P3R Jaun Pablo Montoya the day a Nascar driver steps into an F1 car to compete against the best in the world would be a sight i would like to see.

@colombiandj88 that is were you are wrong in f1 there is politics and no room for error and takes skill and a bit of strategy in Nascar there is no politics all there is, is strategy not really any skill in F1 your a lone wolf and in Nascar you have to have people to draft with or you will just get left in the dust both are other types of racing but come on its still racing an f1 driver could step into a Nascar at any time and be good look at...
My god the stupidity in these comments is embarrassing. The commentators which have been a part of their respective motorsports for years (probably before most of the people behind these retarded comments were born) can respect each other's cars, tracks, and drivers. The low level of intelligence of people who can't do the same is clear. Like comparing apples to oranges. They're just as different as can possibly be and everyone is going to have their own preference. Nothing or no one is better.

You know it's almost funny I came here thinking people would be talking about the fact that a Formula 1 car was driven on Watkins Glen International for the 1st Time in 31 years. Instead I find something completely different. A SMH argument between bigoted F1 fans and stubborn NASCAR fans (mostly the F1 fans). Really people can we ever get along dammit?!
