A large and costly problem for many CG stakeholders has always been how to time reps to arrive when product arrives at the store. Obviously, if a store is out of stock on items that a rep is coming to re-stock, it may be better to have the rep arrive when the stock will be available to be merchandised. Or some store managers may prefer to participate in the decision to delay service- they might want to assign store employees to perform some interim merchandising, like for retailers who use our StoreViewTRACKER™ tool.
By scheduling visits to coincide with product arrival, it is possible to reduce the number of unnecessary visits, as well as maximize the time that the reps are in your store. ShipTRACKER™ provides Advance Ship Notification to all stakeholders along the Supply Chain, but most importantly to the field- so that products and reps can arrive in the stores at the same time.
ShipTRACKER™ works with either scheduled and unscheduled store visit methods. With scheduled visits, ShipTRACKER™ securely takes Advance Ship Notifications from Manufacturers, Shipping Companies, and Retailers - and works that information in to the rep's visit schedule to time store-visits with product arrival. MessageTRACKER™ will send each rep a message if the shipping schedule changes- allowing the rep to change the schedule within allowable parameters.
