New 9/11 Video: NASA Releases Aerial View

NASA officially released video taken of the September 11th terrorist attacks from the International Space Station, marking the 10th anniversary of attacks on America. Published by NASA for the first time, it was taken in 2001 by astronaut Frank Culbertson. His words have been heard before. The high-definition video was secured by the space agency and clearly shows smoke rising from Manhattan. Tim Minton reflects on the surprise of seeing a new angle.

I still remember that day like it was yesterday. I remember where I was and who told me. I was standing at my locker during my senior year in H.S when one of my teachers came up to me and told me of the news. I remember one of my other teachers had a son who worked at one of the towers and was worried sick. But luckily he was ok. I remember there were talks of ending school early...which never happened. I remember coming home and rushing to the tv to learn more. We will never forget

i was teaching a class of high school students at our local college satellite building when the first plane hit. we all stopped what we were doing and i had rolled a television in just in time to see the second plane hit and hear the news from the pentagon. this was pointless. we tried to help the afgani's during the revolution against the soviets why would they do this i mean really. it cost them a good leader minus the terrorist part. someone that was intelligent enough to unify their nation
