@SlayerBoi1992 Smallville isn't like the other series because of the amount of detail created around Clark's adolescence and young adult life. The point isn't that Clark and Lana's relationship ends or that he ends up with Lois. Clark is growing into the man who becomes Superman, and his experiences with both of those women play key parts in that growth. Although I knew at the beginning Clark and Lana would end, I am still glad I got to see the story of their relationship.

@daeuri Thank you so much for pointing that out. Some people fall short on what Smallville is about. I grew up on this show, it's my childhood lol Although, I do miss Lana, because I feel that Lana was in love with the thrill of Superman... not just talking about Smallville itself, but in Superman Returns as well.

listen.clana and clois are both totally different couples, and are good in their own way.although i hated clana breakups but lana's relationship with clark has always been sweet and sad and full of sacrifices. On the other hand clois relationship has been strong naughty and fit together like a puzzle piece.

@fandejoy though I agree that Lana is his sole and ONLY love,, Lana made him human, more human than anyone else! at least she knew and touched ther HUMANITY in him,,, lois on the other hand DUMPED his humanity because he was NOT enough like the BLUR until the season after,,,,

that is where Lana's greatness lie,,, she ALWAYS loved and touched the humanity in him <3

@fandejoy Lois's humanity is why Clark loves Lois, cause shes flawed and embraces it, she's weak (as you say) but still strives to make the world better place, shes human and makes no apologies for it... and most of all she knows that she's perfect for Clark as she is, they're equals... powers or not.

Lois embodies everything Clark loves about humanity and his adopted planet.

Lana thinks Powers make her equal, but shes so insecure she doesn't realize she was good for Clark as she was.
