This is the final video of the University of Redlands Bulldog football teams past community service efforts this April. From April 25th-April 28th a group of 72 team members, 2 cheerleaders, and 2 coaches made a difference in the lives of all those who camp at Camp Ronald McDonald for Good Times.

Camp Ronald McDonald for Good Times was founded in 1982 by a group of caring individuals who dreamed of a place where children who have had their lives devastated by childhood cancer could recapture what being a child is supposed to be. Camp Ronald McDonald for Good Times programs have grown to provide year-round supportive programs serving families and children impacted by cancer.

Whatever the prognosis, a cancer diagnosis interrupts childhood and hinders the experiences that lead to normal child development. At Camp Ronald McDonald for Good Times, these boys and girls recapture the hope, enthusiasm, and love of adventure that are essential parts of their youth. They blossom in the medically and psychologically safe environment that has been created especially for them.
We approached this trip as we would a game. We were going to give our best effort regardless of the temperature or difficulty. The only way we would be successful was to come together and work as a team. We didn't take breaks. We worked our best. We worked as a team. And we got the job done.

Camp Ronald McDonald for Good Times needed our help and we, as Bulldogs, were more than willing to take on any and all tasks they could give us. Through our hard work and dedication to the cause, we did our best and exceeded all expectations. With the work we did in the few days we were there, we made a positive impact on the lives of every child who attends Camp Ronald McDonald for several years to come.
Bulldogs share a common trait with the children at Camp Ronald McDonald; they don't let adversity stand in the way of anything they set out to do and they do so with great enthusiasm. We Bulldogs were a select group of volunteers that were depended upon by all those associated with the camp. The fact that we had the ability and the opportunity to do something great for a cause that is bigger than ourselves was all the motivation we needed.
At the end of the trip, we Bulldogs knew that we significantly contributed to the satisfaction and betterment of the experience of the children, their families, and counselors at Camp Ronald McDonald for Good Times.

If Camp had to pay for these services it would cost us $30,500-$55,000.
Because of University of Redland's Bulldogs we can use these funds to send another 30-50 children to camp.

Good Work Bulldogs! Enjoy the video that was recently presented to the University of Redlands Board of Trustees.
