The supporters of Single Payer Healthcare (HR 676) may have not a seat at the table like Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina, but I can tell you they are not going away.

When folks take off from their jobs to participate in a rally, in deep Red Kentucky, for Single Payer the you can be assured this is an issue that's not going to die no matter how many Rick Scott's there are fighting for the insurance Companies.
There's nothing wrong with having different oppinions about health care. Obama has to hear all sides and take all deals offered. I respect your views and your force. Hope there are lots of intelligent folks to hear your side of the story.

Obama promised to fight for universal health care; he didn't run on a single payer platform. It's counterproductive to imply Obama is conspiring with the health insurance industry because he isn't. In fact his plan terrifies the insurance industry. When the political climate in this country is such that we elect a President Kucinich, we will be able to enact single payer. In the meantime, why not focus exclusively on fighting the real enemy, the health care industry, not President Obama.
