  • Anyone know anything about the graphics on the car? Paint or vinyl decals. I'd like to find out more, if anyone has any information I'd appreciate it.

  • Its vinyl from phatdesign in Sweden(Cant post internet addresses do a search on it)

    Regards

    Pete

  • Yes that pretty much what I though it might be. I am about to do a 3" into 3.5" into 4" into 5" exhaust too so that will be a good improvement. The reason I'm doing this is I have a larger 16v motor being built that will give your 996 a run for it's money! Details will be released in the coming months. What sort of hp/tq are you expecting from the 996?

  • Sounds good! :-)

Well i´m looking for some seriously reliable HP in my 996 so probarbly not more than 570Hp

  • I'm going to be putting a gt35r into a 3.0ltr in a few weeks. This will have a racespec head and cam plus a few more mods. What sort of power levels did you achieve on your old setup?

How is the 996tt project coming along?

  • Looks kind of like my setup!

I was putting out about 490HP at crank with 1 bar boost!

The 996project is coming along pretty good its a thread about it at 6speedonline search for turbocup street legal racecar.

  • i wish live could be swedish magazines!

  • Really sweet car and driving! I had a chance to ride with a few guys in Indiana (where I live) at a SCCA event. The skill it takes to drive cars on road courses like this is a lot harder than it looks. I plan on going to some events once my car is finished and can't wait! It looks like a lot of fun. Best of luck!

  • What causes the turbo(??) sound to get so much louder near the end? And if you don't mind, what's the model of the Recaro in the cockpit? Totally Awesome 951!!

  • Many thanks Pete. Much appreciated. It looks superb.

  • Yes reliability would be something a bit different for me too. I am expecting 700hp at the crank with the bigger motor at about 1.2bar. If it's more or less that doesn't matter so long as it keeps going everyday!
