The Rescue

EDIT 2: I'm flattered that some people want me to animate for their movies, but I'm just too busy doing college things and working to devote time to someone's movie.

An animation I made at MCAD this summer during SES. ^___^ Made with Flash, Adobe AfterEffects, and Photoshop.

WOW I need to check my front page's comments more often. o_o;; Thank you very much for all the appreciation and support for my short vid "The Rescue"! I never dreamed it would ever be this popular. I'll try to answer everyone's questions here.

In this particular scene from the story, Maddy had been captured by dragon hunters (not the same clan her grandpa belonged to though) because they wanted to use her for research on dragon magic. They knew she was really a human and wanted to somehow harness the magic the dragon used on her. Meanwhile, Riley manages to find Cypher and make a deal with her to change him back into a dog to rescue Maddy. His reasoning is this: as a human he's covered in dragon magic keeping him in that form. The hunters would see that and just end up capturing him like Maddy. If he were a dog he'd be able to slip in unnoticed. He also wants Cypher to change Maddy back into a human. The dragon agrees, strangely enough. However, she says that since he's been in human form for so long, it's actually becoming more natural for him than his dog form. So she makes it so the moment he rescues Maddy and are out of harm's way, he'll change back into a human along with Maddy. Riley doesn't care, as long as 'his girl' is safe. The dragon takes the spell off of Riley, and he takes off to the research station to rescue Maddy. After he leaves Cypher comments to herself on how his relationship with Maddy seems to be more than a loyal dog and his owner now. 'This should be fun to watch...' she also says.

So he rescues Maddy, who is really surprised to see him as a dog, and they manage to get away. =) It's still a very rough work in progress, but it's getting there... any suggestions for the story are appreciated! And suggestions for what I should animate out of the story next. ;D

The music is from Okami and Final Fantasy: Advent Children. Songs from Okami are: 'Oki the Hero' and 'Reset: Thank You Version'. The song from FF is 'One-Winged Angel'.
