@1ellababy2005 skytec and qtx sound are so much better than any other shit around that price range. Even if you pay a couple hundred more you won't find the quality you get from them. obviously if you pay into the thousands you're going to get better quality but the average person in a crowd won't understand the difference in sound and wouldn't by looking at them think you've spent anymore money on some jbl's or peaveys.

If you're going to buy cheap chinese made junk then you are going to inevitably have problems with them.You're better off spending you're hard earned cash on second hand quality speakers that have been well looked after.That's what I was told when i was starting out and it has stayed true in my 15 years of live gigging experience.To be honest this guys sounds like he has never gigged outside his sitting room....so glad to hear that your cat likes them though!?

@1ellababy2005 I've been playing globally for 15 years as it goes. I bought these knowing they were cheap and cheerful and they are still pounding out to this day. I used them last weekend at a festival in idana a nova in Portugal and they are running just fine.

@1ellababy2005 Yes skytec is nothing like JBL but would your really take JBL speakers to gigs were people are going to get pissed bump your speakers fall into them or possibly damage them in any other way? thinking about it, a few hundred dollars compared to a couple of thousand dollars. sure everyone has their own opinion but the average person on the dance floor will not know the difference.
