  • whats up with the peavey amps? why not vox like the beatles used?

  • if you take a look at all my other videos you will see that the band always use VOX amps.

unfortunately, a this show the fuse blew in the amp and they didn't have another one, So the venue let the band borrow a peavey one.

that is the reason why the john of the band is using a peavey.

  • damn, I never thought i'd ever hear anyone who sounded like John Lennon but that guy came scarily close. Ohh and why not the whole song!? wtf?

  • well i ran out of memory on my camera and felt that it would be better to get as many different songs as possible. but there are some whole songs on my profile page.

  • odd that "John" is using a Peavey amp. You'd think being a tribute they would've used Vox.

  • Yeah, at this gig, the fuse blew in their VOX amp so they had to borrow one from the venue. But usually they use VOX amps.

  • "John" is doing the wrong harmony here.

  • @MaMort check out gary gibson experience, hes eerily like john

  • @skidrow75 guess this one sounds fine!!! :D but ya since they try to reproduce it at least the gear should be the same!!ahaha

  • nice voice!! very short video :/

  • I've seen Rain, Beatlemania, and met John, Paul & George. THESE guys are they ones (other than the originals, of course) I wish I could see. Hands down, NOBODY comes close to them in sounding like The Beatles.

  • I can't tell from the video because of the quality, but I think lennon is sining the wrong part in the harmony.

  • Please check my Cover channel -- I am singing the same song....AshAlmond

  • HOLY CRUD!

  • Some people don't realize the profound effect that Vox amps, Rickenbackers, Hofner, and Gretsch had on the Beatles sound. That was the perfect blend of tones, each guitar very unique. Another key to the Beatles sound was those tube-driven Neumann U-47 microphones parked smack dab in front of the amps in the studio. Their contribution to the Beatles overall sound was immeasurable. Limiters, tubes, old school.
