(the culture of money-spenders) indigenous people have ALWAYS lived in harmony with nature. i'm not trying to use the 'noble savage' line, (cuz some were brutish and nasty) but civilization's goal is to conquer Earth. what this means is waging war on nature. (and life, in general) a growth economy (based on a standardized currency) is suicidal.

What I meant is that the attitudes that create the imperial mindset you all hate so much are an intrisic part of humanity. When you've got 30,000 year old grave plots in Nubia an the Americas and 23% of the skeletons have knocks between the ribs, that is indicative of an arrow/spear to the guts. A lot of skulls show evidence of blunt force trauma, but that could also be from accidents so its not as supportive.
