- you go to some related blogs, forums, social media and post your link Yourself ... OR
- make a decent content and wait for somebody to make link to your site ?

Matt, I don't believe people will post a link to someone's website "naturally" as you suggest. Why would anyone do this? Even if they think the content on a site is stupendous, why should they go to the trouble of posting a link from their site to this site? Just having great content is NOT going to get you links. What's in it for the person posting the link? Nothing... So my point is this: Unless a website has a resources page with links on it, most ppl will not post a link. Do you agree?
