Laugh and Learn with The Pond Plant Girl as she shares about growing artichokes and water hyacinth too. See more pictures about the Feed the Hungry Garden Project in Visalia, California at The Visalia Rescue Mission. You also gotta see the Giant Cactus House! You'll have a good time!

  • That house that had all the cacti was actually on Court street, not Center street by the way, I just subscribed, like your videos!

  • @bryanrick Dang... you are right! I'm always that. Thanks for subscribing!

  • hi can you please tell me how i can completely remove water hyacint from my pond in Bangladesh. i get them growing every yearing during april and may. thanx much obliged

  • You can get rid of water hyacinth by:

    1. draining the pond

    2. adding koi

    3. pulling it all out and throwing it in a mulch pile

    4. chemicals can be added to the water but will kill off everything

    5. insecticide soap will also kill water hyacinth, because the soap and oil will clog the large pores on the plant

    Good Luck!

    :-) GAiL

  • Artichokes, love 'em. Good to see ya! What can I do to help?

  • Thanks for offering to help the Feed the Hungry Garden. I actually need help with advertising and spreading the word. I'm also happy to do radio interviews. Networking connections are very valuable. Garden Blessings! GAiL
