Sometimes, nobody is allowed to die in Nintendo games, even when it seems like they should. Even when the situations faced by the characters are presented as realistically dangerous, and the threat of death or injury is obvious, its never apparent anyone ever dies.

Perhaps they feel certain concepts are "too sensitive" for an E rated, family friendly audience. Shoot a Gerudo guard in the head with an arrow, she's not hurt, she just falls asleep. A Royal guard slumps over after trying to stop Ganondorf from capturing Zelda, he's not dead - he's just "not moving anymore". Death caused by violent acts are usually downplayed or censored to avoid notice from the more "sensitive viewing audience".

Part 7 Discontent grows among the ranks of the Gerudo, a nearly all-female race of skilled fighters and thieves. Rumor has it any who dares question Ganondorf's methods are brought out to the colossus far out on the other side of the desert wastelands - A mysterious place where few have ever returned. Nabooru, who skills rank highest among the Gerudo, despises Ganondorf and secretly plans to overthrow her evil King. If only she can get her hands on a secret treasure Ganondorf hides in the mysterious colossus, she just might gain the power needed to end Ganondorf's rule over the Gerudo...

This one has to be the most obvious death in the game...

  • The LoZ:OoT manga screwed up your theory...but the good thing is that the manga story isn't 100% approved by Nintendo.

  • @Paladinofthejustice The manga didn't even try to follow the game' story. Link never met Nabooru as a kid. Sheik pretended to be one of Ganondorf's followers for 7 years. The witches find out Sheik betrayed them to help Link, so they blast Sheik in the back. Link carries the unconscious Sheik to the Temple and learns she is really Zelda. Ganondorf captures Zelda, Nabooru & Link rushes to Ganon's castle to save Zelda. The mangas story was nothing like the game at all.

  • I think that Koume and Kotake not only killed Nabooru, but possessed her body also. They hit her with their respective fire and ice magic, and her body disappeared only leaving her spirit floating away. Her body would be used for later use as the vessel for Twinrova. Maybe that is what they meant by brainwashing "again"...

  • @90matthews90 I'm curious to know why you think Nabooru's body was used as a vessel to form Twinrova? Is it only because Twinrova looks as young as the other Gerudo, or is there more to it than that?

  • and oh yeah..3:45 of course Koume and Kotake would be Gannondorfs most loyal supporters...they are his step-mothers. both of them.

  • @chran1138 Actually, they are his surrogate mothers, not his step-mothers. A surrogate mother is a woman who gives birth to a child for someone else to raise; A step mother is a woman who simply marries the biological father. Both Koume & Kotake ARE Ganondorf's biological mothers. Since they both raised Ganondorf, yet both share the title of surrogate mother, the obvious answer is that Ganondorf was born to Twinrova - Its the only way both sisters can be surrogates mothers for each other.

  • On the gossip stone It could also mean that she is like a ghost theif or someone who remains at the spirit temple so much people believe she could be a ghost

  • @BeautyBoyTV depends which of the 3 timelines does this follows?

  • But they said "we should brainwasher her again". Why would they say that and then kill her 0.5 seconds later?

Also I read on a Zelda timeline thinger that Aganihm killed the 7 sages in the original Zelda game, which occurs after Ocarina of Time.

  • @chran1138 Gerudo women go to Hyrule in search of boyfriends.

  • 1st off the Title of this video should be "Did the 6th Sage die?" 2nd she did not die. Twinrova said lets make her work for gannondorf a little longer, lets brain wash her again. So there you have it, when link defeated twinrova, the brain washed affect went away.

  • @FanonBanned Well...yea. Sadly, the only evidence that I have to back that up is when they hit Nabooru with their orbs causing her to vanish and Nabooru's beautiful youth versus the two witches aged bodies.

I wish Nintendo will go about explaining some things that go on in ALL Zelda games, but at least we get to think for ourselves...

  • Twinrova and Nabooru did have the same youth and beauty, unlike the grumpy old witches, I might add.
