  • DEFINITELY agree with you!! Until now Lamotrigine is the best medication in my cocktail, with quetiapine being the second best. Quetiapine was life saving with few side effects (dry mouth is the one which bothers me the most, but tons better to be with dry mouth than with horrible mood swings). I hope that you'll stay stable and I'm glad that you're feeling better!! Take care!

  • Hi, I hope that you are continuing to make progress with Lamotrigine. I just wanted to let you know that I have Bipolar 1 and am taking a mixture of Lamictal, Quetiapine, Mirtazapine and Diazepam - when needed. I have been taking this cocktail of medication since 2004 and can honestly say I feel great! I do still have fluctuations in my moods, but they are nothing I can't cope with. Lamictal has been the best medication for me - just wished I had been put on it sooner. Good luck
