Like many I'm sure after hearing this song for the 1st time I felt like Nik studied my life and wrote a song about it. He was extremely underrated. His guitar playing was awesome, his voice superb, and his composing was impeccable. I wish he would tour the US. I'd get front row seats. And where can I get a suit like that?

I told my 12 year old the other day that I was thinking of taking up banjo lessons. He wasn't thrilled.
I had this song playing on the car stereo at the time, very loudly, and the solo began just as we hit the traffic light. As the car sat there I started playing air guitar.
"See? You couldn't do THIS with a BANJO," he said.
And dammit, he's right.

I beg to differ. Having just recently going through his back catalogue he is an excellent composer of seemingly simple but deceptively complex pop songs and a decent pop vocalist to boot. He's very underrated. I imagine his initial teeny-bopper image didn't help his future credibility. This song never seems to get old.
