I made this video in hopes that you will be sucessfull in connecting your Xbox to the internet via. ethernet cable from your xbox to the computers ethernet outlet from the cricket broadband usb modem . I can do it. I watched another video on youtube regarding this. It was a kid instructing you on putting in all these numbers and stuff and then saying put it back on automatic.. Putting it on automatic makes the xbox completely disregard all of the manual numbers you punched in. Anyway, i would like to thank him because it gave me hope however i still had problems. Problems with my Vista machine. TURN THE FIREWALL OFF IF YOU HAVE ISSUES. This isn't the smartest thing in the world to do. It makes your computer very vulnerable however......if you wanna play your xbox online....... yeah. Plus i tell myself that hackers/ spammers wouldnt care to hack through a 56k ish modem...even though im possibally wrong.

I really liked this video. Though basicly put together, it told me exactly what I needed to know.

Where I live, there is only one DSL provider. Their speeds are not too high, their ping is rediculous, and theyre prices make Cox Communications look like Dollar General.

However, I can get Cricket Broadband out here, and honestly, this method has worked GREATLY for me!

I was able to update my new console, transfer the right to my DLC to my new console, and etc. MUCHAS useful!

When u play online on waw how is ur connerction how many bars i mainly have 1 sometime 2 never 3 or 4 bar

it should work, but like if u play to much u will Lag the fuck out, and ur going to wait about a long-time just to find a lobby/match/ or etc. trust me and i do have the highest plan and played on cricket for 2 years, it sucks!!! and u will not have all online experience, ull have some but not all, plus i have the new modem that came out , and it didnt help at ALL.
