Stella with Pivot Chords
Here's a version of Stella with Pivot Chords. That is, chords that modulate the tune. I call them pivot chords, and I try to modulate BEFORE the top of the tune. It's not my idea, I got it from Bill Evans. Listen to his version of 'Here's That Rainy Day' from his solo piano cd, Alone. He modules through the keys G, Eb and B and uses pivot chords on the last chord of the tune. In the key of G, when the tune ends, instead of going to G major Evans goes to an F minor Chord and then a Bb7 and now at the top of the tune you're in Eb.

This is just great man. Although I do miss the old Larry's Improv Page vids with your cat and dryer in the background ;-)

Great playing! I also really like your playing on Jimmy Bruno's "Maplewood Avenue" album!
