"To shoot an elephant" is an eye witness account from The Gaza Strip. December 27th, 2008, Operation Cast Lead. 21 days shooting elephants. Urgent, insomniac, dirty, shuddering images from the only foreigners who decided and managed to stay embedded inside Gaza strip ambulances, with Palestinian civilians.

  • if this happened to your child what would you do - the grief would make you an easy target for people who are looking for suicide bombers

  • ciao vittorio!

  • RIP my brother...RIP, i cry everytime i hear your voice or i lsn to your pure words!! the ppl who did this must have their punishment!!!! love u..

    respect..=(((((((((((((

  • Jesus Christ, the apologists for the Terrorist State of Israel will stop at nothing....excusing the targeting of ambulances now....WAR CRIME, HELLOOOO??? But I guess when it's Israel, all bets are off. They can act any way they want because they always have their mouthpieces running around whining about self-defense. Give.Me.A.Break.

  • Some of those ambulances, apart from saving many lives, also carried combatants to the frontline. If some ambulances were targeted by the IDF, then I would suggest that the Palestinian Combatants who misused them, must accept the lion's share of the blame.

    I am sorry for the loss of your loved ones, whoever is to blame.
