  • the reason why this movie is raciest is becuase everyone makes it raciest so what if they are white , black, chinese , etc that were suppose to play that role who cares they all are still people but the world still cant figure that out yet becuase everyone is just plan stupid i mean omg that guy is suppose to be chinese but a white guy played as him who cares the why i look at it is that just some people complaining about that they didnt get the part in the movie and and making it sound raciest

  • It's not exactly easy for an Asian actor to get a leading role in movies (less than 1% compared to the 80% for white actors) even when the whole godamned movie is about THEIR culture, or the character is DESCRIBED IN THE SCRIPT as Asian. It's called yellowfacing, and it's the reason why Bruce Lee didn't get to star in a tv show HE CREATED, it's the reason a movie about a real Chinese American MIT student (21) was cast with a white actor, it's the reason Goku, Japan's superman was cast as white

  • Oh and when they do get a role, they are either doing kung fu, or are the sidekick of a white or black guy.

  • lol whitewashed hardcore...and also everything in america ...

  • @LordInit Flexibility! She had more of that perhaps!

  • @ SimKoning. Did you know that all the actual martial arts stunts for Aang's character in the movie was actually done by an Asian (I presume Chinese) woman?! LOL

  • @Caseyloewer the movie is racist, because the producers purposely chose whites over asians despite the fact that ALL the characters were asian! I bet you would complain if the movie 'Lord of the Rings' had asians or even blacks as the stars! And don't lie!

  • @SimKoning and i also thank you for reading my comment and reading to what my concerns about the view of the movie

  • @SimKoning i get wat you are saying but i went and watched the movie and there was actually more races of people there other than white but you are right the main characters were supposed to be chinese but it is really hard to come by a balled-headed kid btwn the ages of 10-13 who knows kong fu and in my view there is really nothing raciest about it i mean seriously people are people no matter what the race is

  • Ah there is nothing more weirder than a Caucasian portraying a monk, an Asian Buddhist monk. It like watching a Asian portraying an old American colonial fighting the red coats or a mythical England king like King Arthur. The only positive spin I can put to it is that some Caucasian producer in Hollywood loved Asian Culture so much they are fine being wannabe Asian. I am deeply flattered. (Laughing at them mockingly)
