  • all hail king Phil Liggett

I agree. It will be shocking and sad when he retires. It will be hard to watch cycling without him. He is that good. I love the footage of Roche's comeback and the legendary Sean Kelly. I wish the DVD's were more like the ones he made back in the 80's. It used to be mostly post-race, scripted commentary and was more polished. Now, it's just taken from the race day commentary. That's just my preference.

  • Amazing commentary on Stephen Roche's fight back on La Plagne, one of the best in sport history. He reminds me off Alan Partridge.

  • Australia SBS coverage of the Le Tour...

A major catalyst for the growing interest in Australia can be sourced to the enthusiasm of Tomalaris as SBS anchor with the knowledge and hands-on experience of Sherwen and Liggett.

The ONLY sports TV program that NEVER sees the mute button in my house.

    I dips me lid.

  • Some people were just born to commentate.

  • 2.17 LEGEND!!!

  • cant remember seeing this the first time around a year or so ago ... but nice find and good to see it again!

  • i think paul sherwin is just as good if not better! He understands tactics and team coordination a bit better IMOP.

  • Haha, Gary Imlach looks like a baby.
