@16swimmergurl Realistically, its not that hard to have the best safety record when you operate one type of aircraft to only 40 domestic cities, and are only 1/3 as old as other legacy carriers.
As for you talking about other airlines talking down to Southwest, they have a right to. Southwest deliberately flew 145,000 passengers on illegally operating aircraft that missed their inspections.
Not to mention their cattle call boarding and singing FAs will keep me away forever.

Soutwest kicks ass!!! It is, by far, the best airline anywhere in the world. Teh flight crews are always joking, singing, laughing, having a good time, etc. They are not assholes like those on other airlines. They put costomer service at an unmatched level and actually care about their customers, too. Southwest is my first choice in air travel!!! Southwest will always LIVE ON!!! GO SWA!!!
