Last night and this morning, Tram and I saw Red-headed Woodpecker in our Guilderland backyard. Last night a Common Grackle was chasing it all around; this morning, some of the birds were uncomfortable near it but allowed it to stay around. We could hear one baby Grackle making an alarm call for about 10 minutes. When woodpecker moved over a few trees, the bird stopped.
