Its not so much of whos awake at 4am, but my neighbours dont like any noise at all. I could probably sneeze at 4am and they would complain lol

Hi, thanks for making this awesome tutorial, it helped so much! I do have one problem. I created a map with control points like you said and they work perfectly, expect the texture for the cp bases aren't loading correctly (they're the purple/black checkerboard). I was wondering if you knew of some option to fix this texture, as I can see all control points on other maps fine. Or is it just a problem with my computer? Thanks.

Like Xxminish said, add an env_cubemap into your map, compile with HDR, load up the game, run your map, and type "buildcubemaps" into console (without the quotation marks, and the fully exit out of TF2. Once this is done, open TF2 again, run your map, and everything should look fine =]
