@Davido490 There's nothing wrong with your piggy. Every guinea pig is different, I have two. Gizmo runs around, squeaks rapidly, and eats all the time. Raider doesn't move around much, doesn't eat that much, and is scared easily. It's kind of like people, they each have a different personality.

@Davido490 THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH YOUR PIGGY!! I HAVE BEEN RAISING GUINEA PIGS FOR OVER 30 YEARS..NO 2 ARE EVER THE SAME!! HAD ONE THAT OPENED DOORS WITH IT'S TEETH, ONE THAT JUMPED FROM HIS CAGE INTO MY ARMS..ONE THAT WOULD LIE DOWN NEXT TO ME...HAVE 4 NOW..START EARLY AND REINFORCE TRUST AND GOOD TRAINING...SOME ARE VERY ACTIVE..SOME ARE NOT!! THEY ARE ALOT LIKE PEOPLE..SO DO NOT WORRY..JUDY.. PS PLEASE REMEMBER TO KEEP YOUR PIGGY AWAY FROM PLANTS, ELECTRIC WIRE, OPEN DOORS, STAIRWELLS

UPDATE: Nutmeg doesn't like being home anymore. She will run up the stairs and proceed under the coffee table or treadmill. When put back in her cage she will often escape within a few minutes.
The other day we actually found her hopping up the SECOND flight of stairs to the top level.
Looks like we might have to get her a REAL cage...
