This is my first real tutorial and I hope that it helped you guys. I LOVE this effect and have used it in some of my videos. Their is probably other ways of doing this but this is the way I do it. If you have any questions just ask. =)

And you can do this effect in other ways. Maybe mix the pictures with clips like in the first example video or add some overlays and more. If you liked this effect - comment and I will do some more tutorials with other ways of doing it.

@lolaventimiglia or I think you need to change your File > properties (settings)

@lolaventimiglia try this: to the left of the "snapshot"-icon you can choose draft preview good or best (preview quality) when you take the photos, change that one to best full or best auto

Awww lovely effect!! But how can I do HQ stills from the video? When I save a cap, like you did in the tutorial, Vegas saves a low quality version of the image even if the clip is in HQ :(
