@iubelo If you get to know shaykh Muhammad you will see that he isn't trying to be politically correct or a feminist but rather doing what he does best by empowering sisters. He has two small daughters and more than anything he wants them to be the best that they can be. Its not to say that women are stronger...he meant in terms of deen, it takes more for a sister to practice hijab then it does for a brother to simply maintain a beard. In the eyes of Allah we are all equal except in faith.

@iubelo brother I don't believe women are more intelligent than man but I do think they are more patient and mentally stronger than men, just think about it, can you even imagine what pain your mother went through for 9 months to give you birth? Can you imagine how hard it is for a mother to raise a child by herself? Then you will know how strong women are, I am not a feminist but you have to be fair to both men and women.

@darkshadow515 Well, this is something which isn't related to the religion, so the default is, that it's allowed unless proven otherwise. Unlike matters of the religion, which are all not permitted unless proven so from the Qur'an or Sunnah.

Is gelling your hair up in some sort of style allowed in Islam?....I was just asking because thats what brother Eddie does and i am not sure of the answer myself.
