8:49am 9/11/01 Channel Flipping

This was found on an old tape. Its me flipping through channels from 8:49am - 8:53am. I go to CNN, NBC, FOX, and ABC

What is up with you people and crucifying NBC for not instantly going to the Trade Center? Do you understand where Rockefeller Center and 1 World Trade Center is? Rockefeller Center is in midtown. 1 WTC is in the financial district, about four miles away. People in midtown were in blissful ignorance about what was going on. CNN got the story quicker because they are a 24 hour news service. Hell FOX didn't even get the story right away. So shut up about NBC being bias.

(hint hint...somebody find it) and put it on two concecutive commercials? ARE YOU KIDDING ME? WTF were you thinking, or were your pancakes burning?

@coreyde100 LOL they ran through an entire commercial loop before going to the scene...ABC and CNN interrupted commercials to break in with the first plane...now NBC4 in NY's angle on the second plane hitting was probably the best...but overall the other networks did better that day than NBC

I did somewhat the same thing - I flipped through channels and wrote a list of what channels were showing news, what had a ticker about it on the bottom of the screen, and what channels didn't interrupt broadcasting(pretty much all the childrens' channels, probably with good reason). It kept me distracted from actually having to pay that much attention and becoming overloaded.
