Sandberg Custom 5, Delano Pickups

Just a test for this new bass, nothing fancy, one take, just playing to show tone, no perfectionism haha

Sandberg Custom 5, Delano Pickups, DR Fat Beams, Sansamp RBI, BBE 882i, Genz Benz Neopak 3.5, Genz Benz 212 Neo, Rode NT1A

I mic'ed and di the bass, on the left you'll hear the di, on the right you'll hear the mic, so its stereo. I was hoping to get a diffrent sound but they sound very alike, the only noticable difference would probably the roll off from the high end, its not as aggressive as the di, theres a slight cut from 2khz and up

Nice, I have been looking at the Rode NT1-A but there is not a lot of info on it being used for bass, how would you rate it as a bass mic? It sure seems to sound good here.

@funkbassboom im not too sure myself, they have heaps!!! check the site out :) all i know is i can switch the coils for both pickups..
