2008 (K - 7th) We made a "black light" set for our Vacation Bible School that was a hit with the kids...and adults, too! Each year we build our set with Cardboard (free sheets from a local company), paint & frame it. Keeps cost down for sure!

We used Jazz brand fluorescent tempera paint...it really pops in black light. Real black light paint was too expensive. Jazz Brand of tempera is the only kind of tempera that was quality. An art teacher recommended it and I ordered online. We tried some tempera from Michaels....not even close. We spent around $200 for everything you see on the stage. Some colors took 3 coats, but most took 2. Thanks for the kind words....have a great day! Miss Denise / Children's Pastor

  • What type of paint is it? Fluorescent or black light paint? Thank you! Your set is awesome! . . . Carol
