Following the news that the Independent Regulatory Commission has found Liverpool forward Luis Suarez guilty (and handed out an eight match ban), The Redmen TV bring you the official statements from both the FA and Liverpool FC along with uncensored reaction.
luis suarez racist guilty FA independent regulatory commission liverpool fc striker forard uraguay patrice evra claim alleged slur negro negrito 8 eight match game ban lfc TV papers statements official
@1878redarmy i agree man. i think Suarez should've been punished but i thought 8 games was a tad too much. i would've given a 4/5 game ban. can't believe that liverpool fans stick behind him unconditionally and have absolutely no sympathy for Evra.
In Latin America we call "Negro or Negrito" all color people and it is not offensive to them, if we add the following then it's offensive "Negro Hijo de Puta or Negro de Mierda". Evra don't play a mens game "BOY".
so negro is racist? evra is a precious idiot. his statement on french tv sezit all. how can u feel offended by negro? dont call rooney ugly, dont call suarez shortie. this isa disgrace.and if ubuy in2it ur a p.c clown.
@jayboy918 Suarez admitted using the word. He is guilty at that point onwards. It doesn't matter whether it was used once (as suarez claimed) or "at least ten times" (as evra claimed). The charge is for the word, not the frequency. What made his case worse is when he said it was used in a friendly way which is obviously fake when this moment was a heated argument in the middle of a derby.
All of Suarez's witnesses provided different versions of events so seemed unreliable throughout
@jayboy918 How was Evra lying to French TV? The claim wasn't the number of times the word was said, it was the fact the word was said.
Suarez would apologise because he referenced a man's skin colour with negative feeling in a heated altercation to which he later got found guilty of. Nothing much at all? Suarez wasn't the one being racially abused so don't think he can judge if it's nothing much.
@SonicJaneStooge No when the accusation first came to light Suarez admitted to using the word 'negro' but argued that it wasn't to be translated in the way Evra had, this Evras allegations he denied as they contradicted Suarez's statemet. Suarez could have denied using the word altogether. And ''exaggerating' the incident could have been the difference in the fa finding Suarez guilty or not. Everyone knew Evra was going to be booed, why it's such a shock to you I don't know.
@SteelCitiesFinest yes he did. Suarez "categorically denied" all charges initially. exaggerating the incident was wrong but so was booing a player for reporting an incident of racial abuse. and so dismissing it as "friendly banter" as dalglish did. anyone who feels as if they were racially abused deserves sympathy of some form but dalglish has been treating it as if it's a non-event and that's wrong.
i found it shocking that Dalglish has shown no sympathy to Evra what so ever. the guy got booed to shit for what? reporting to the FA that he felt he was racially abused. he might have exaggerrated the incident but Suarez and his lawyer said nothing happened and denied everything initially then said it only was said once. if Suarez is completely innocent then why didn't they appeal? Evra actually helped Suarez out by saying that he doesn't think he's a racist.
Suarez is a disgrace to the Premier League. plain and simple
