Jesus, ENOUGH with the GAGA comparisons! I love both women and their music and I don't even BOTHER comparing the two as they are not the same! And all the Gaga fans who say Roisin copies Gaga clearly are morons and make being a Gaga fan embarrassing because you can't seem to give credit where it's due. Both women are talented. @kztar621 Well I agree with you on the "elitist" part, but you sort of disproved your point when you started talking about your "bragging right". I can't agree with you on the fact that one is more talented than the other. I view them as separate entities, who are talented in separate areas. I think that Gaga is more of a powerhouse... And need I remind you, she is a dancer. Roisin isn't... I think they're both extraordinarily talented.

@justintylercarey I hear you. I hate that people get all elitist because they listen to something different than the populace.

That said, I've known Roisin since Moloko, but I still like to brag about her, mainly just to piss off retarded little monsters. It's fun to see them lose it to the facts. Gaga may not be a copy of Roisin, but the woman is nowhere near as original, talented or well hearted as her die hard fans want to believe and artists like Roisin are the proof of it.

It's sad that narrow-minded "fans" can't compute the vast differences between two aesthetically similar female artists. There really isn't much similarity between Gaga and Murphy except for their outré fashion sense. These two artists reside within the same vein of music, but I don't see any real similarity whatsoever. It's a pity that when someone from America recognizes Róisín they act as if they just discovered the elixir to life, only so that they can brag about it. Huh...
