In this episode of Real to Reel, Binghamton University senior Elizabeth Bucci takes viewers to the sold out Drake show at the Events Center.
Grammy-nominated artist stopped in Binghamton as part of his national Light Dreams and Nightmares tour, sponsored by AT&T. The Binghamton show immediately followed two sold-out Radio City Music Hall dates.
Based out of Canada, and named "Best Male Hip Hop Artist" at the 2010 BET Awards, Drake released his extremely successful debut album "Thank Me Later" in June. His best-known songs "Best I Ever Had" and "Find Your Love" both broke the Billboard Hot 100 Chart, and the album went platinum within the first month. He has also collaborated with high profile rap and hip-hop artists such as Kanye West and Lil Wayne.
Others may also recognize Drake from his role on the popular television show Degrassi: The Next Generation.
Real to Reel films, which showcase what's happening in Binghamton, are made by students for students. If you have an idea for a video or would like to submit your own video, send a message to http://www.youtube.com/binghamtonuniversity.
