Beer Review: Lagunitas IPA

This IPA from Lagunitas brewing has a nice floral and hop mix that makes for a full flavored, easy drinking beer.

They have upped the ABV to 6.2%. I wonder why. Same with the Hop Stoopid which went from 7.7% to 8%. Interesting.

@AfterHoursOwl Probably to keep up with other beers. To be honest, I'd rather have a lower ABV in most cases.

i'm drink'in one right now and the bottle says 6.2abv not 5.7 whats up with that??

@megagreenzebra They must have changed the recipe a bit. I reviewed this in 2009 so it was a while ago.

@majornewb CA does ahve a lot of good breweries but lots of other States make good beer, like Colorado fo example. Cheers!

@USAF26329 Many people don't like the flavor(usually bitter) of IPA's. That's OK because there are so many other great styles of beer out there.

I dont' know what it is about IPA's but I can't stand them... did not like this one ....good review though
