Franklin's Second Annual "Lose the Shoes" 3 on 3 Soccer Fundraising Tournament Benefiting Grassroot Soccer United

Franklin High School's Athletic Fields

Saturday November 21st from 12:00pm - 4:00pm

Grassroot Soccer United (GRSU) is a non-profit organization that provides youth worldwide with the knowledge, life skills, and support to live healthier lives against HIV/AIDS. The program works chiefly in AIDS afflicted areas like Zambia, South Africa, and Zimbabwe. They are continuously improving their innovative HIV/AIDS life-skills curriculum, and are utilizing the popularity of soccer and its role-models to increase their success in the global fight against the devastating disease.
To support this organization, Franklin is hosting its 2nd annual "Lose the Shoes" Soccer Tournament Fundraiser!
There will be medals for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, and a small raffle for all participants. Snacks will be provided and Jamba Juice will be selling drinks. There will be an officer pieing at the conclusion of the event, so bring extra money (presidents from other schools will be in danger of being pied also).
