so how hard is it to become a trooper? im in the Marines right now and looking to eas and become one. Seems a lot more along the lines of the military than city cops for the most part, and would be a lot easier choice than going back to being a mechanic like before i enlisted. the transition between the Marines and a civilian is a rough one...

hey i´m quite not sure, you can call your local recruitment officer and ask about, they give you some detailed information. as marine you are a good candidate to become a trooper i guess

@ r2craycr..From a KSP standpoint, the academy is the hardest part. I am a large guy and it was tough but it is 99% mental, Once you have gotten it in your head that you are willing to make all sacrifices to become a Trooper you should have no problem. The recruiting SGT. I worked with told me that if I didint make it through it was strictly because I lacked motivation. You can do it, but make sure it's what you want to do. It pays off when you make a difference in someones life. Good Luck!

@r2craycr a friend graduated about 2 years ago. he had a Navy SEAL in his class who said, "if i dont pass this first go i will never do this again, SEAL basic was easier than trooper island."
