I now you wrote this about a month ago, but....
Everybody's a noob at first... Isn't it better they are interested in linux distros instead of the "old xp shit"? :)

Thanks! :)

what's the hotkey you use for the desktop wall?

I just installed Ubuntu 7.04 and installed xubuntu-desktop, ubuntu-restricted-extras, and everything Beryl and Emerald, and then I uninstalled all the regular Ubuntu stuff (including Openoffice and Evolution and most of the Gnome stuff) with the idea of using Remastersys 2.0.2 to create a customized Xubuntu CD. I always have trouble getting Compiz-Fusion to work on Xubuntu 7.10, but on here (Xubuntu 7.04) it's easy as hell.

Lol, my friend just got his computer fixed and it came back with Zubuntu when it had been having XP installled, and the funny thing he was clueless about how to install, and download stuff on there it was priceless :)

Great vid & great Xubuntu, as weel as balance of family like Kubuntu & Ubuntu.
ABSOLUTELY 5*!!!
I have Xubuntu running on an Acer Extensa 710E notebook, Pentium MMX 233 Mhz, 92 Mb RAM & 5 Gb HD. I just plugged-in a PCMCIA wifi card (D-Link) and it works perfectly on my home dsl network. Great project!!!

this is my slowest computer which consists of a p4 1.4 512 MB of RDRAM, and a FX5500. At the time it was xubuntu 7.04, and running beryl, which is now running compiz fusion.
