Here's Final Fight CD for Sega CD running on PS3 Linux through Zerogame Project. The emulator has some issues dealing with the CD audio, but other than that, it plays great.

The final version will be released when it's ready. A beta release will be out soon. There currently isn't a website for the project yet, just a Twitter page for updates.

are you using XE 2.16 or 2.14? I know that the SPE scaler could mitigate the some of the performance issues w the new engine used in 2.16 but I found 2.14 to be generally smother on the ps3.

I just tried it with XE 2.14 and it's even slower than 2.16 with SPE scaler. Not by much, but it's enough to annoy. Good idea anyways.

I had a quick question as to what the status of this project was. these comments are all more than 6months old. I'm hoping your still working on it as i cannot seem to connect my PS3 linux to the internet and this is what i've been hoping for for a very long time

This was recorded on XE 2.16.1 patched with auto fill off (nativeres) using the SPE scaler. I'll give 2.14 a shot and see if it makes the audio smoother.
