@acerb45666555 it appeared when firearms gained dominance in the battle field. that way sword play became more and more a gentlemans sport and a way to settle disputes. in the 15th century schools were created specificly for rapier fencing in italy and spain(toledo)

I wonder if this would work in a modern sport foil or epee bout...?

@Wild1990Child Actually this action has more in common with modern foil and epee than many of the rapier techniques, it is the origin of the Flèche.

THEY CALL THEMSELVES INSTRUCTORS AND DONT WEAR MASKS??
rjkid2 1 year ago
@rjkid2 That is exactly why we are not wearing masks, when you are explaining techniques as an instructor it is important that masks stay off so everything is clear and simple for those watching, next time think before you comment.

Darkwood Armoury (US) or Hanwei, the Hanwei is the best cheap option, its a practical 43" with heavy pommel fitted, available all round the world.
